How to get an API key for MEXC Global

This page explains how to get an API key for MEXC Global(MXC)'s transaction history.

1．Our Support Status for MEXC Global

1.1 Types of transactions that can be retrieved

• Convert transactions・・since the transactions are not delivered through API from the exchange, convert transactions are not reflected on cryptact.

You can check the support status of API endpoints for exchanges on the ”Supported Exchanges & Blockchains” page.

If an exchange provides transaction history via API, we will automatically reflect that data. However, if the exchange does not supply certain information through API or if the provided files lack transaction details or are unclear, those transactions cannot be automatically imported. In such cases, please upload the transaction history manually using a custom file.

Custom File for any other trades

1.2 Time period that can be retrieved

​Spot trading： up to the past 30 days

Withdrawal history： up to the past 180 days

Futures trading： up to the past 1 year and half

For transaction history that cannot be automatically reflected via exchange files or APIs, please enter the details in a Custom File and upload it manually. and upload it. How to download a trade history from MEXC

2．Important Notes

If the message "Could not retrieve your transactions. If the issue cannot be resolved please check with your exchange." appears during API sync, the exchange may have encountered an error due to over 100 transactions at the same date and time. As this is an exchange-side issue, please contact your exchange for assistance.

3．How to get API Key for MEXC Global

1. After logging in, click the Person icon at the top right and select "API".

2. Please take the following actions:

• Spot:  add check for "View Account Details, " "View Order Details," "View Deposit/Withdrawal Details. "
• Futures:  add check for "View Account Details, " "View Order Details." 

• Notes: required field. Please enter some value.
• Link IP Address: please enter the below IP address.

• Click "Create."

3. Enter the security verification information and click Confirm.

4. Take note of your Access Key and Secret Key, and add API connectivity via Connect to your exchanges.

* Please be sure to take note of your Secret Key as it is displayed only once upon creation. If you miss this opportunity, your Secret Key will be displayed in asterisks and you will need to create it again.

4．How to add your MEXC Global API key to cryptact

Please select your exchange on the designated screen, enter your API key and secret key, then click "Submit" to initiate automatic API synchronization. If you conduct new transactions later, you'll need to manually click the "Sync" button to update your transaction history.
How to manage (add/sync) your API keys with exchanges

*If you have multiple accounts, you can optionally enter a Sub-account name to reflect each account's history. However, using different sub-account names with the same API key may cause duplicate entries, so please be careful.
