This page explains how to get an API key for AscendEX's transaction history.
- We have confirmed that due to the specification on the exchange side, you can only fetch transaction history for the past 30 days. For history older than 30 days, please upload them as custom trades and do API synch within 30 days thereafter to retrieve the history on a regular basis.
- API connection is only supported for SPOT Trades. For other trades, please upload them separately as custom trades.
1. After logging in, click the profile icon and select "API Setting".
2. Click "New API Key".
3. For API Permission select "View", for IP Address Restriction select "Set IP address white list", then enter "52.69.115.51,52.193.138.38,18.179.74.94".Then click on "Generate API key".
* You can set Name to any text you like.
4．Please take notes of API key and Secret key.
Connect via AscendEX API
Add API connectivity to AscendEX by entering the generated API key and secret via Connect to your exchanges and click "Submit".
If you do have sub-accounts, please enter any sub-account name of your choice. In that case, transactions from sub-accounts will also be reflected separately as separate transactions.
Note that if you use the same API key with different sub-account names for API integration, it may be recognized as different API keys, causing duplicate entries.
