This page explains how to get an API key for HTX (formerly Huobi Global) transaction history.
Due to the specifications of the exchange's API, only the past 120 days of history can be retrieved. For history older than 120 days, please download the file from the exchange or upload the history using a custom file.
1．Log in to HTX, click on the profile icon in the upper right corner, click on"API Management".
2．Enter the following and click on "Create".
- Notes：Any API name
- Permission settings：Read only
- Link IP Address: Enter the following
52.69.115.51, 52.193.138.38, 18.179.74.94
3．After confirming the contents, check the checkbox and click on "I unerstand".
4．Enter the security code received in your registered e-mail address and click on "Confirm".
5．Note down the API key and secret key.
*Please be sure to write down or save the API key and secret key displayed on the screen. If you miss this timing, you will not be able to confirm the key and will have to re-create it.
Connect via HTX API
Add API connectivity to HTX by entering the generated API key and secret via Connect to your exchanges and click "Submit".
If you do have sub-accounts, please enter any sub-account name of your choice. In that case, transactions from sub-accounts will also be reflected separately as separate transactions.
Note that if you use the same API key with different sub-account names for API integration, it may be recognized as different API keys, causing duplicate entries.
