How to download transaction history files from Coinstash

This article explains how to download your transaction history file from Coinstash.

[If you have already downloaded your file] When uploading the downloaded file to cryptact, please upload it in order from the oldest transaction date. See the following for details. Tips for uploading exchange files correctly

1. Automatic import support

You can check which file types cryptact supports on the Supported Exchanges & Blockchains screen (click the relevant exchange).

For Coinstash, cryptact supports the transaction history CSV file (Export Txns). The following transactions recorded in the CSV file are imported automatically:

  • Crypto buys and sells (in AUD, including trading fees)
  • Crypto deposits (received)
  • Referral and bonus rewards (Referral / Bonus)

Note: AUD (fiat) bank deposits are not imported, as they do not affect the P&L calculation.
Note: Crypto withdrawals (sent) and any other transactions (such as cashback) are not imported automatically. Please add them using a custom file or manually on screen.
Note: The PDF reports available under Reports (Transaction History, Cash Statement, EOFY Report, etc.) cannot be used for import. Please use the CSV file.

Transactions that appear in the downloaded file, and whose content cryptact (a third party) can identify, are imported automatically. However, transactions that are not recorded in the file, or whose content is unclear due to the exchange's specifications, cannot be imported automatically. For transactions supported by neither API nor file, please upload them using a custom file. How to create a custom file
