This article explains how to check the Upload Requirements for each file downloaded from a supported exchange.
Before You Begin
In cryptact, each Upload Box supports different File formats and Requirements.
If you upload a file that does not meet the upload requirements, one of the following errors may appear and the file cannot be uploaded.
- Invalid header.
- You appear to have uploaded a valid file to the wrong location. Please check and reupload.
If you see either of these errors, please verify that your file matches the upload requirements for the selected upload box.
How to Check the Upload Requirements
- Log in to cryptact and open the upload page for the target exchange.
- Click Upload requirements.
- Review the displayed requirements and confirm that they match the file you intend to upload.
▼Example: Bybit
Example Information Displayed
The Upload Requirements screen shows the following information:
- Valid extensions – Accepted file formats (such as CSV or Excel)
- Max file size – The maximum file size allowed for upload
- Expected headers – Required column headers (field names)
If You Still Cannot Upload the File
If you have confirmed the upload requirements but the file still cannot be uploaded, please check the following:
- Confirm that you downloaded the file using the method described in our Exchange File Download Guide.
- Make sure the downloaded file has not been edited. See How to Resolve File Upload Errors Caused by File Modification.
- Verify that you are uploading the file to the correct upload box.
If the issue persists after checking the above, please contact our Support Desk and attach the file you are trying to upload.
