Why is the message "Transaction history added" not displayed in the assistant even though I have uploaded the transaction history?

This article explains the causes and solutions for the issue where "Transaction History Added" is not displayed in the assistant, even though the transaction history has been uploaded.

1. Introduction

First, please verify whether either "API Add" or "Upload files" for the exchange is completed when "Transactions Added" is not displayed. If it is not yet completed, please ensure to complete it.
Uploading Transaction History to cryptact

If "API Add" or "Upload files" has been completed but "Transactions Added" is still not displayed, two potential causes can be considered. Please review the respective solutions:

  1. The transaction history necessary for profit and loss calculation is not included.
  2. There are no transactions available for retrieval due to insufficient information provided by the exchange.

2. The transaction history necessary for profit and loss calculation is not included.

Even if you are using a supported exchange, if the transaction history only contains transfers between your own accounts or other transactions not required for profit and loss calculation, there will be no transaction history reflected in cryptact, and it will not display "Transactions Added."

For specific examples of transactions not needed for profit and loss calculation, please refer to "Why are transactions skipped?".

Solution

Return to Step 1 of the Assistant and deselect the applicable exchange.

Once you do this, you will be able to proceed to the next step in the assistant.
In the future, if you conduct transactions on the applicable exchange that are necessary for profit and loss calculation, select the exchange again in Step 1 and add the transaction history.

3. There are no transactions available for retrieval due to insufficient information provided by the exchange.

There are some transactions that are not reflected in cryptact due to lack of delivery information on the exchange side.
If there are no transactions available due to lack of delivery information on the exchange side, the transaction will not be marked as “Transactions Added”.

Solution

(1)Transactions that are necessary for profit and loss calculation but are not automatically supported must be uploaded as Custom transactions by yourself. (*Refer to "How to Create a Custom File" for the description method.)

Please check the following help pages for the status of each exchange's support.

(2) Return to Step 1 of the Assistant, deselect the appropriate exchange, select “Unsupported exchanges /
trades / blockchains” instead, and click "Comfirm exchanges".

(3)Upload the Custom file created in (1) above.

Once you have done the above, you will be able to proceed to the next step of the Assistant.
If you have future transactions on the relevant exchange that can be handled automatically, please select the exchange again in Step 1 and add the history.
