[Important] Notice of Pricing Plan Revision (Effective September 9, 2024)

This help page explains cryptact’s new pricing plans effective September 9, 2024.

Thank you for using cryptact. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services, we have revised our pricing plans and appreciate your understanding.

Please note that this page is intended for customers who subscribed before September 9, 2024.
If you subscribed on or after that date, you do not need to review this page.

3. About the Old Plan/New Plan

Old Plan: Plans on September 8, 2024 and before

New Plan: Plans from September 9, 2024 

 

4. Revision Details

We will offer four plans: Free-Pro.
The Pro plan offers three options for transaction limits.
Pro+ 381 USD/560 AUD, Pro Unlimited 533 USD/784 AUD per year, tax included
*USD and AUD amounts listed are for reference only.

 

Convenient Features Across All Plans

Convenient features such as automatic identification of transactions from overseas exchanges, DeFi/NFT transactions, and the ability to add custom transactions will now be available across all plans. Previously, adding history from overseas exchanges and using DeFi features required subscribing to a paid plan, but these functionalities are now accessible across all plans.

  • Automatic handling of domestic and overseas exchange transactions (including API integration)
  • Automatic identification of DeFi transactions
  • Automatic identification of NFT transactions
  • Upload custom files, sub-category functionality for custom files

Notes

  • You can use the above features even with the new Free plan. 
  • Email support is available only for paid plans. Please also utilize the Help Center.

 

Data Retention Plan:

For users who plan to take a long break from trading cryptocurrencies, we have established a new "Data Retention Plan"(3,960 yen/year inc tax) starting September 9, 2024. This plan allows you to safely store your transaction data and calculation results that have been saved in cryptact. For more details, please refer to our help page.

5. Process for Applying New Plans

As before, paid plans will automatically renew one year from the contract date. To check the current plan details and auto-renewal settings, please refer to the following help page.

◆ Switching to the New Pricing Plan

1. First Time Customers

Customers who sign up for new contracts on or after September 9, 2024, will be guided by the new plan. 

 

2. Customers Wishing to Change to the New Paid Plan

Changes on or after September 9, 2024, will apply the new paid plan. Changes on September 8, 2024 and before, can only select the old paid plan. The application timing of the new plan varies depending on the plan you are currently subscribed to and the plan you newly sign up for.

Your current plan will not be automatically changed. Depending on your preferences, the required actions may vary, so please review the following information. For details on how to change your plan, please refer to "6. How to Change Plans / How to Subscribe to Paid Plans." If auto-renewal is enabled (ON), the plan will be automatically renewed with the same plan when the current plan's expiration date is reached. Therefore, if you wish to change your plan, please complete the change procedure by the day before the expiration date.

i: If you want a new paid plan that is more expensive than the old paid plan: The new paid plan will be applied immediately.

ii: If you want a new paid plan that is less expensive than the old paid plan: You can select the new paid plan September 9 onwards, but it will be applied after the expiration of the current plan.

 

3. Customers Currently Using the Free Plan

On September 9, 2024, it will automatically transition to the new [Free Plan]. The transaction history data will be carried over as is.

 

◆ Continuing with the Old Pricing Plan

With the revision of the pricing plan, the currently contracted plan will not change automatically. Please check the following as your response will vary depending on your preference.

1. Continuing to Use the Existing Plan September 9, 2024 onwards

Please ensure that auto-renewal is enabled (on). If auto-renewal is enabled, you can continue to use the existing plan.

Example: If you want to continue using the old [Entry Plan], make sure to enable auto-renewal by the day before the current plan's expiration date, and it will automatically renew under the existing old [Entry Plan].

*You need to enable the auto-renewal setting by the day before the existing plan's expiration date. In this case, even if it is past September 9, as long as you set it before the existing plan's expiration date, there will be no problem.

2. Wishing to Change to Another Old Paid Plan

Changes on September 8, 2024 and before, will apply the old paid plan. From September 9, 2024, only the new paid plan can be selected.

Your current plan will not be automatically changed. Depending on your preferences, the required actions may vary, so please review the following information. For details on how to change your plan, please refer to "6. How to Change Plans / How to Subscribe to Paid Plans." If auto-renewal is enabled (ON), the plan will be automatically renewed with the same plan when the current plan's expiration date is reached. Therefore, if you wish to change your plan, please complete the change procedure by the day before the expiration date.

i: If you want an old paid plan that is more expensive than the current old paid plan: You need to select it by September 8. Once selected, the relevant plan will be applied immediately.

ii: If you want an old paid plan that is less expensive than the current old paid plan: You need to select it by September 8. Once selected, it will be applied after the expiration of the current plan.

 

Other:

If you do not need to subscribe to a paid plan next year because you will not be making any transactions, but you want to retain the data already uploaded, you can select the [Data Retention Plan] from September 9, 2024. What is the Data Retention Plan?
