DeFi: What to do If a Manually Classified Transaction Becomes Eligible for Automatic Classification?

On this help page, we explain what to do when a DeFi transaction that was previously classified manually as “Unclassified” becomes eligible for automatic classification.

1.Why Manual Edits Remain After Updates

If a transaction was originally marked as “Needs Identification” because it could not be automatically identified by the cryptact engine, and you manually edited the transaction type to resolve this status, the transaction may later be automatically identified after an update.

In such cases, manually edited transaction types take priority. Therefore, if you want automatic identification to be applied, you will need to perform the following steps.
