Precautions for when uploading a custom file

This article explains what you need to be aware of when you are uploading a custom file. Please also refer to the following articles as needed.

1.Precautions when you uploading a customfile for the first time.

When you create a custom file, we advise you to list your trades in chronological order. However, even if they are in random order, the trades are uploaded in chronological order when you upload the file.

Example: Trades are listed in a custom file in random order as follows.
2017/01/02 12:33:34
2018/01/02 12:33:34
2017/06/02 12:23:34

When you upload this custom file, the trades are uploaded in chronological order as follows.
2017/01/02 12:33:34
2017/06/02 12:23:34
2018/01/02 12:33:34

Additionally, when uploading, please ensure the following:

  • Confirm that the entries are made according to the specified format: [Custom File for any other trades].
  • Ensure that the price includes the counter currency price per unit of the base currency.

2.Precautions when uploading a custom file for the second time and onwards

You should add new transaction history to the existing custom file and upload it to cryptact. To prevent double counting, even if new transaction history is added, the previously uploaded history in the custom file will not be reflected, and only transactions from the latest transaction date onwards will be reflected.

Example:
2017/01/02 12:33:34 (previously uploaded)
2017/06/02 12:23:34 (previously uploaded)
2018/01/02 12:33:34 (previously uploaded)
2017/01/01 12:22:34 (Newly added to the file)

Since the transaction history up to 2018/01/02 12:33:34 has already been uploaded using the custom file, only transaction history after that date and time will be reflected. Therefore, the history for 2017/01/01 12:23:34 will not be uploaded.
