1.What are Scam Tokens

Generally, it refers to unfamiliar tokens that are unilaterally sent to users without their awareness. Particularly, when trading on  DeFi, you may receive scam tokens into your wallet addresses. For instance, accessing the website of such tokens and connecting your wallet can result in assets being drained from your wallet.

*Please note that it is up to you to determine whether the received coins are scam tokens or not.
*Unlike scam tokens, coins such as regular airdrops or coins with market value require income recognition. In such cases, please process them as 'BONUS'.

2.Response to Scam Tokens

If you determine that the scam tokens received in your wallet do not need to be recognized as part of your assets, you may choose to ignore them or alternatively, 'Fee only' the relevant transactions from your DeFi trading records. By doing so, they will be excluded from the profit and loss calculations.
