This article explains what information is available on the Summary screen and how to look at the screen.

Summary Screen

①Realized Gains/Losses

■ What is Realized Gains/Losses? (Japanese only)

②Cost Basis Method

For cryptocurrency PNL calculation, you can choose from Average Cost or Periodic Average Cost.
However, the default method for individuals is Average Cost, and if you wish to switch to using Periodic Average Cost for reporting your PNL, you need to submit a form to your local tax office.

③Check coin positions and PNL from different angles

■ "Yearly" tab
This tab takes the transaction history that was uploaded and presents the summary for each coin for each fiscal year.

■ "Loan" tab

This tab shows the number of coins borrowed or lent out at the end of the fiscal year.

■ "Life to Date" tab

This tab takes the transaction history that was uploaded and presents the life-to-date summary for each coin.

■ "By Exchange" tab
This tab takes transaction history that was uploaded from all exchanges, and for each exchange, creates the summary of transactions that generated PNL.

* Please note this does not mean cryptact calculates PNL for each exchange. PNL calculation per exchange is not permitted.
