Important points to consider during API integration

This page explains the important points to consider during API integration.

One crucial aspect to be aware of during API integration is the confirmation of dates reflected in the API data.

  • If you have uploaded transaction history using a transaction history file in the past:

When there is transaction history already uploaded via a file from the exchange, API integration will retrieve only the history with timestamps later than the latest transaction date, preventing double-counting.

  • If you have uploaded transaction history using a custom file in the past:

It's essential to note that transactions uploaded via API cannot be linked with those uploaded using a custom file. Uploading the same transaction history via API integration that was previously uploaded with a custom file may result in double-counting.

  • If you have manually uploaded transaction history from the screen in the past:

Transactions manually uploaded from the screen cannot be linked with those obtained through API integration. Therefore, uploading the same transaction history via API integration that was previously uploaded manually may lead to double-counting. Please exercise caution in these cases.

Additionally, if you conduct new transactions after API integration, these transactions will not be automatically reflected. In such cases, please click the 'Sync' button to update and include the new transaction history. Here are the steps for syncing or resyncing the API.
